At his 1981 murder trial, 19-year-old Arne Cheyenne Johnson claimed that he killed his landlord because the Devil made him do it — and that was just the beginning. Aided by paranormal investigators, Johnson alleged that his real-life horror story began when his fiancée's 11-year-old brother became possessed by demons. The boy would often wake up crying hysterically, describing a "man with big black eyes, a thin face with animal features and jagged teeth, pointed ears, horns, and hoofs." Before long, Catholic priests allegedly came over to the home to perform multiple exorcisms, during which the boy "levitated, cursed, and even stopped breathing." But it wasn't until Johnson challenged the child's demons to "take me on" that they supposedly latched onto him instead. Then the demons commanded Johnson to commit murder.
