Residents of the Oiji community in Apa Local Government Area in Benue State were shocked after a young boy was rescued alive from a river following three days of being missing. A source who is a resident of the community said the child who had “mysteriously” vanished in the Oiji River for 3 days was eventually rescued. According to the source, the boy who was swimming with his friends early on Saturday was discovered “healthy and alive”. The source mentioned that the goddess of Eha, the god of warfare among the Oiji ancestors, displayed a serious mystical exhibition through her oracle Mama Kano, also known as Enegeha. “He was allowed to live in good health as a result of all of her repeated prayers to the gods and the fact that the infant was clean,” the source further added.
