☞Today in History -- On today’s date 164 years ago, Saturday, October 30, 1858, the infamous Bradford Sweets Poisoning occurred at the City of Bradford, England. ☞The Bradford Sweets Poisoning was the arsenic poisoning of more than 200 people in Bradford, England, when sweets (candy) accidentally adulterated with arsenic trioxide were sold from a market stall.  Twenty-one unsuspecting victims died as a result. Future serial killer Ed Gein spent his youth locked away on the family's rural Wisconsin farm with just his brother and his fervently religious mother.  She forbade her boys to make any friends and taught them that the outside world was evil and that all women except her were instruments of the devil.  Soon, Gein's brother was found dead on the family property under mysterious circumstances and he was left all alone with mother. When she died soon after, Gein lost his "one true love" and further secluded himself inside the house, much of which he turned into a shrine to her. The Tollund Man (died c. 405–380 BC) is a naturally mummified corpse of a man who lived during the 5th century BC, during the period characterised in Scandinavia as the Pre-Roman Iron Age.  He was found in 1950, preserved as a bog body, near Silkeborg on the Jutland peninsula in Denmark. Naked man suffocated in condom. A thrill-seeker killed himself by pulling a condom over his head to try to give himself a sexual high, an inquest has heard. Man Convicted Of Raping One-day-old Baby. A man has been convicted of raping a one- day-old baby and two other young children. Stuart Young, 37, was found guilty of two charges of rape and one of sexual assault at the High Court in Edinburgh on Thursday. The details about of his crimes revealed during the week-long trial were so horrific that the jurors have been exempted from serving on another jury for five years. His crimes took place between November 2008 and December 2013, in attacks which temporary judge Paul Arthurson QC called "truly depraved and despicable". He began raping the baby boy when he was just one day old, and continued his attacks until he was three months old. Young, from the Sighthill area of Edinburgh, also raped a girl over a period of years, beginning when she was six months old and continuing until she was five.
