The need to preserve the cultural heritage of our country is greater today than ever before.

The need to preserve the cultural heritage of our country is greater today than ever before. The collection of sculptures in our country has been neglected and valuable sculptures have already been destroyed or smuggled abroad.

At the same time, it is also very gratifying that awareness is being raised slowly through social media like Facebook and YouTube.

Chandrasekhara Badatya, who recently became known on Facebook, is from Odisha. His purpose and dreams are unique. He has published  reconstructions of some of the sculptures he created on Facebook.

Here are some such images to give you an idea of what they might have looked like in the original. At the same time, as the broken parts have been reconstructed, the beauty and beauty of the original idol has returned.

It may be natural for idols, shrines, monuments to be destroyed due to the impact of time and human intervention. Another fact that it also happens due to lack of management, may be right. Modern technology helps to protect the precious and beautiful monuments created by our sculptors in the time when there was no modern technology.

At least the technology has developed to be able to store these in the form of images.

Like Chandrasekhara Badatya's project, he is effectively working on art medium where the sculptures can be seen in thei r original form.

There are plans to display these in sculpture form in the next stages. If the , Government and Social Associations come forward and encourage,  they will be able to display the reconstructed sculptures at important public places in the State/Country. It is not possible for one person to rexecute these plans.

Therefore, an opportunity has opened for art lovers and historians to use Chandrashekhar Badatya's talents properly to rejuvenate our culture and heritage.

All the best Chandra Sekhar Badatya !
