hilalove The scar was from gall bladder surgery. Marilyn also had an appendectomy in which she famously taped a note to her belly begging the doctor not to take her ovaries… this seems strange until you factor in that she suffered from severe endometriosis and removing organs such as the appendix, gall bladder and ovaries is not uncommon during excision surgery (I just had my appendix out during mine.)
