“He is 85 and insists on taking his wife’s hand everywhere they go. 

When he was asked why his wife kept looking away, he responded, “because she has Alzheimer's”.

 Then he was asked, will your wife worry if you let her go? He then replied, ′′she doesn't remember anything, she doesn't know who I am anymore, she hasn't recognized me for years.” 

Surprised, I said, “and you have continued to guide her every single day even though she doesn't recognize you?" 💞

The elderly man smiled and looked into my eyes and said, ′′she may not know who I am, but I know who she is, and she is the love of my life…”

Rock cut Panhalakaji Caves. During 1970-71, a farmer named 'Keshavrao Pandurang Jadhav' of Panhale village, while plowing his field, found a stone box with metal letters stuck to the plow. The study revealed that the copper plates belong to the Shilahar period. In 1972, the Archaeological Survey of India excavated the site where the copper plates were found and uncovered a group of 28 caves completely hidden under the silt of the Kotjai River. Panhalakaji Caves are situated in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra state, about 160 km south of Mumbai, on the right bank of mountain stream Kotjai. This cave complex has 29 Buddhist caves. She used to say: "I think there's nothing duller than a smooth, perfect-skinned woman. A woman is beautiful by her Scars." hilalove The scar was from gall bladder surgery. Marilyn also had an appendectomy in which she famously taped a note to her belly begging the doctor not to take her ovaries… this seems strange until you factor in that she suffered from severe endometriosis and removing organs such as the appendix, gall bladder and ovaries is not uncommon during excision surgery (I just had my appendix out during mine.) A turtle found in the skull of an Elephant

From time to time, paleontologists come across strange finds that can only be called a game of nature. They even came up with a special Latin term for this, lusus naturae. What should a scientist think when looking at a turtle fossil stuck in the jaw of a petrified elephant? .of course, that these very elephants ate these turtles. In fact, it was probably the other way around. It is known that turtles willingly gnaw bones, because they contain calcium, which is very necessary for the shell.  Most likely, this turtle also found an elephant's skull somewhere, started eating... but something went wrong. What, unfortunately, we don't know yet.

They give live birth to a big litter of tiny creamy white baby scorpions called “scorplings.” "Scorpions are unusual amongst invertebrates because they give birth rather than laying eggs. Unlike mammals which have true births, scorpions are “ovoviviparous”. This means that  eggs hatch inside the mum and the babies are born separately . How many babies do scorpions have at once? Scorpions can give birth to litters ranging between 20 and 100 babies! A scorpion can have  as many as 100 babies in a single brood . They are born alive, not hatched from eggs like insects. The Italian sculptor, Ferucci's Caesar carved 1512-1514 AD marble and stands 66cm.  It portrays a highly romanticised version of the seasoned warrior, characteristic Florentine artistic qualities heavily influenced this piece.  He wears the muscled cuirass and paludamentum of a Roman Legatus (cloak fastened at the left shoulder and worn by commanders, regular troops called it a pallium and had it fastened at both shoulders) but has no laurel wreath on his head. It would seem Ferucci was trying for an aesthetic of Caesar as a great general and leader, but wanted to avoid the dictator and deification issues that some criticise Caesar for. Either way, this is a masterpiece of Florentine marble sculpture.  This piece is in the Met, NY, USA.

Pilot Calbraith Perry “Daredevil Cal” Rodgers (1879-1912) was attempting to win the $50,000 prize offered by publisher William Randolph Hearst (1863-1951) for the first transcontinental flight.  ☞The Vin Fiz Flyer, a Wright Brothers Model B flying machine, was sponsored by J. Ogden Armour (1863-1927), the famous meat packer. The Vin Fiz was named after Armour’s new grape-flavored soft drink. ☞Ten thousand people came out to watch Daredevil Cal Rogers land in John C. At his 1981 murder trial, 19-year-old Arne Cheyenne Johnson claimed that he killed his landlord because the Devil made him do it — and that was just the beginning. Aided by paranormal investigators, Johnson alleged that his real-life horror story began when his fiancée's 11-year-old brother became possessed by demons.  The boy would often wake up crying hysterically, describing a "man with big black eyes, a thin face with animal features and jagged teeth, pointed ears, horns, and hoofs."  Before long, Catholic priests allegedly came over to the home to perform multiple exorcisms, during which the boy "levitated, cursed, and even stopped breathing."  But it wasn't until Johnson challenged the child's demons to "take me on" that they supposedly latched onto him instead. Then the demons commanded Johnson to commit murder.

☞Today in History -- On today’s date 125 years ago, Friday, October 22, 1897, famous Italian-American chef Ettore Boiardi (1897-1985), better-known by the Anglicized version of his name, Hector Boyardee, who was famous for his namesake brand of food products, “Chef Boyardee,” was born at the city of Piacenza, Italy. ☞Boiardi was working as an apprentice chef by the age of 11. He later learned more restaurant skills as an immigrant to Paris & London. On May 9, 1914, at the age of 16, he arrived at Ellis Island aboard La Lorraine, a ship of French registration. ☞Boiardi followed his brother Paolo to the kitchen of the Plaza Hotel in New York City, working his way up to head chef. He supervised the preparation of the homecoming meal served by Woodrow Wilson at the White House for 2,000 returning World War I soldiers.
